InVisible City

InVisible City is a compassionate, metaphorical series of poems and photographs authored and photographed by Pat Fan Man. For many years, he has travelled to Asia, Australia, Europe, Canada, and America. His many moods and spirits are presented in this work.
This book contains forty-six poems and photographs composed in sixteen cities: from San Francisco to Toronto, Prague to Venice, from Athens to Tokyo, and New York to Hong Kong. The everyday scenes make intellectual impressions -- which become expressions of life. The images reveal relationships between humans and nature. The emotional impact of the image is visible within the photographs and poems and creates new rhythms and new vocabularies, which span from reality to fantasy, from melancholy and whimsy to sympathy.
